Three things more important for losing weight than counting calories.

Three things more important for losing weight than counting calories.

Losing weight feels like a constant uphill battle, doesn't it? It's tough because it's more than just cutting calories—your body's like a complex machine that adapts to changes. When you eat less, your metabolism can actually slow down as your body tries to conserve energy. Plus, our everyday environment doesn't help, with easy access to high-calorie foods and sedentary lifestyles being the norm. It's also about habits; breaking the old ones and forming new, healthier ones is hard and takes a lot of willpower. And let's not forget, everyone's body reacts differently to diets and exercises. It's a personalized puzzle!

And since everyone is different, the answers are different.  The best thing you can do is first decide why you want to lose weight.  Without a true purpose it just becomes a wish.  So many people weight until a doctor tells them their health is failing. Some wait until they have a heart attack or stroke.  But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Once you figure out WHY you want to loose weight and be healthy do these 3 things:

First – start paying attention to what and how much you eat. Often time we have not idea and we just go on pretending we are doing well.

Second – Play a simple game where anytime you eat try to add more vegetables to each meal.

Third – Work on getting at least 6 to 8 hours of consistent sleep every night.

If you stick to these simple things consistently you will begin to notice feeling better, being more energized and losing weight!

Have a happy, healthy day!
